Saar is a very creative, detailed analyst and thinker. He carries a strong product perspective to his analysis and comes to insightful, effective, data-driven solutions. Saar's considered approach brought grounded perspective to many issues we faced at Gaia. He has a clear business mind, as well, and is a tireless worker. I trust him to get things done and done well. I would work with him again anytime.

Saar is by far the most curious and methodical thinker of social research I have encountered, as well as really smart. The breadth of his research interests is vast and he does them all well. He has a remarkable capacity to hold all the details and elements of a project together without losing focus of the big picture. He always knows the just the right questions to ask and when to ask them. He is always helpful to colleagues. The conversations I have had with him about research have helped to clarify my own thoughts and understanding more than any professor ever did.

Saar drove some critical projects for us at Gaia. He helped us understand the dynamics of our virtual currency to help with implications for the user experience and monetization, and also drove initiatives to prevent, detect and take action against unwanted behavior. Not only did he address these from a strategic perspective, he also worked hard in implementation and usage of the tools. As a result, we largely addressed what had been a problem area. And all of this was accomplished part-time while he wrote his dissertation!
