What People say

recommendation
Aurelie Corridon
Head of Development at First Source Interactive
Louis was a member of First Source Interactive’s team for a 4 months internship, as Database administrator.
Multi tasks and highly organised, he has been involved in managing our database cleansing and integration process by sending welcome emails to our new members.

He was also monitoring data performance and troubleshooting.
Amongst the task given to him, he really stood out with anything analytical and put together some impressive data analysis, graphs and presentations for the team. His analytic mind helps us a lot to know better our clients, identify trends and understand behaviours.

Finally, he has been a great addition to the team supporting the marketing department. He was updating our documentation about the European Data/Privacy legislation and managing the social twitter account of the agency.

I can confirm he is a person of great integrity. At all times I have found him to be reliable, hard-working and conscientious.
I consider he can be a valuable member of a team, who achieves good results and delivers to all expectations.

CEO and Founder at Appointedd
I cannot speak highly enough of Louis - he is a dedicated and conscientious person with a fantastic work ethic. Louis worked with us for six months and added untold value to our product and our team. Louis was always on time, and he was a joy to work with. He asks insightful questions and is not afraid to explore a subject before he starts work on a project. This resulted in Louis' work being of a very high standard.

Louis was also very efficient and organised. He undertook some research projects for us and always presented the material in a neat and consistent manner. This allowed us to get the most value from his work. From initiating and organising our email marketing campaigns, to creating our onsite software Knowledge Base, Louis’ work was exemplary.

Louis managed the demands of our busy office very well - during his time with us we were raising our first round of investment and Louis was fantastic at keeping things moving when I was out of the office. He consistently went above and beyond the call of duty, taking the lead with projects and delivering impressive results.

In short we were delighted with Louis' work and would wholeheartedly recommend him for a position - indeed any company would be lucky to have his. We wish him the very best in the future.

SOME PROJECTS I DID:

louisper.net - My personal website

In December 2014, I have started building my own website. I am using Wordpress.org. The were several purposes to this project.

First, to simply get more visibility on the internet. As a marketing student interested in digital marketing and technology, that is essential.

Also, after having done a lot of content marketing at Appointedd, I wanted to keep publishing blogs on my own.

Finally, the website acts as a detailed resume and every information people might need about me are there (or will be once the website is complete).

Content Marketing - Appointedd

During my internship at Appointedd (Edinburgh), I was responsible of writing articles on the company's blog and bring traffic. The articles were targeting small businesses, with all kinds of tips and advices to help them in their everyday tasks. Small Businesses are the main target of Appointedd. Reaching them and proposing valuable content is a key to the company's strategy.

Here's a link to all my blogs on Appointedd's website:

Gaming Meetup - Edinburgh

In November 2014, a friend and I started a video gaming meetup for Edinburgh. It evolved a bit and also includes board game meetups.

Since we were both gamers; we decided it was time to find people to play with and create a community in Edinburgh.

In April 2015, we reached 300 members. Come and visit us on meetup.com if you wish to meet fellow gamers in Edinburgh!

Rider Tennis Club: Public Relations Chair

For the Spring semester 2016, I will be Public Relations Chair at Rider Tennis Club. This will involve working on the club's communication, contacting other schools for tournament and creating a website for the club.
