Mode Digital Ltd. as a Business Development and Marketing Executive
Mode Digital is a digital marketing specialist which is passionate about delivering superior results in the areas of Search and Traffic Conversion for some of the UKs most trusted brands. Mode Digital aspires to be the trustworthy, hands-on expert who helps clients navigate and profit in the increasingly challenging world of Search Marketing.

My role is split into three main areas:

Business Development:
Prospecting
Market research
Quantifying and prioritising sales opportunities
Creating business development documents and tools, such as pipeline spreadsheets, proposals, documents, pitch presentations, etc.

Marketing:
Create and / or maintain marketing documents, such as budget, press list, events calendar, website, etc.
Assist with content marketing for Mode Digital, including brainstorming, strategy, content creation, deployment and curation
Adhere to brands tone of voice and internal style guide
Management, monitoring and measurement of Mode Digitals social media activity

Social Media Monitoring:
Conducting social media monitoring on behalf of Mode Digital and its clients
Identifying opportunities
Conducting competitive analysis
Helping to integrate new software tools into Modes strategic business processes
Supporting integration with creation of relevant in-house process documents
Conducting primary and secondary research on best practices and market trends
Achieving and maintaining fluency in relevant interactive technologies

The position generally entails:
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters

SOME PROJECTS I DID:

Essex Cricket Social Media Launch

In 2010 I approached Essex County Cricket Club proposing to implement a social media strategy which aimed to promote the club and encourage engagement through a range of online platforms. I set up and optimised official accounts for the club on facebook, twitter and YouTube and executed the early stages of keeping these accounts updated with relevant and fresh content. Later that year the club went onto win 3 ECB Business Awards in Marketing, PR and Media.
