These comprise of lectures, seminars, conferences and awards evenings ranging from 100-300pax and individual OPEX budgets of between 4 and 6 figures. My role is to undertake all operational elements of each event from initial venue search to post-event wash up report. A large part of my role is looking after the sponsorship journey – being the primary point of contact and assuring that every aspect of sponsor contracts and contra-deals are delivered; such as breakfast briefings, drinks receptions and private dinners as well as promotional activity. I also collate information for the event guides, arrange collateral, staff transport and accommodation, and manage onsite registration, AV and catering.

I worked with Graham for just under two years during his time as part of the Conferences and PR team at SAGE. Throughout my time working with Graham he always approached ever task with due diligence and commitment, always happy to go the extra mile for internal and external members to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Graham's commitment and focus on the task to hand is second to none, and he is very adapt at thinking up creative ways to get around any problem. He would make a valuable member of any team, committed to his work but also a very supportive colleague when issues arise.

Graham joined for a short term assignment which was extended during his contract. He is very efficient, innovative and is capable of working unsupervised. He is results focussed and will endeavour to complete all tasks on time and to the best of his ability. He will quickly identify risk areas and will offer solutions and options for resolution. A great team player and a good sense of humour. A good hire.

Graham worked as part of our events and logistics team on a temporary basis to cover the extended annual leave of a key member of the team. The role is very demanding and involves working on numerous projects (including a variety of live events) to tight deadlines, however Graham managed to get up to speed extremely quickly and was able to support the Events Assistant in order to ensure that successful delivery of all projects was achieved. During his time at Interlace Global Graham demonstrated excellent customer service skills, in addition to a commitment to delivering high quality work which makes me happy to recommend him as an accomplished events professional.

Graham worked with us on the Careers Fair at the University. He was a well respected member of the team and his contribution was not only valuable but essential as he ensured plans were executed with precision and excellence. Graham has excellent customer rapport and showed exceptional interpersonal skills through being professional and attuned to the needs of the attendees. He also acted for an ambassador for the University in China with one of the University's valued business partners: Shandong University Weihai. He demonstrated excellent leadership and organisational skills. He regularly took initiative and led his group during interactive sessions. I would highly recommend Graham for any role where these particular skills are required.

education
I enjoyed working with Graham for 2 years as his course tutor. He was a diligent student and produced one of the best end of course assignments I ever saw on the BTEC. It was a detailed, thorough piece of work, extremely well presented and clearly merited the distinction grade achieved. Graham has clearly moved on since then, but I would recommend his motivation to achieve a goal as a prime asset to any client or employer.
